FRESH OFF MY EASEL

Greetings!  I have been very busy painting for shows and commissions and can finally share them with y'all.  Very excited to be in the upcoming "Oh, The Places You Go" Show at dk Gallery.  What a fun theme for the show and I had a blast painting all the places I would go in a heartbeat!  I think A Day in Provence is a great way to start off the series with one of my favorite places.  This painting was one of the hardest and most fun to paint.  Has a bit of everything in it and love the whole composition.

Then I had a trip down memory lane to all the traveling we did growing up in all kinds of trailers.  See that painting below-Road Trip!! This shiny airstream trailer was all reflections and I just love how it turned out.  That is my first American Flag too and I loved painting it! 

I'll share one more below for this show- Gull-iver's Travels!  Just plain gorgeous color and fun- always up for a trip to the beach! 

Hope y'all will come by dk Gallery on Opening Night, next Friday, August 2nd up on the Marietta Square.  It is a gorgeous gallery and I can't wait to see the whole show hanging!  I have two more paintings to share with y'all there!  I will be there Friday evening and the show hangs for the month of August! 

And hope you will also Save the Date for my second Open Studio Event...Saturday, October 26th in Athens, Georgia!  More info to come.

So many options of gorgeous flowers and, of course, my beloved Cotton to paint this summer.   Really enjoy setting up a still life with good light and a vision and then saying something with paint!
