Last year I hosted my very first Open Studio Event called "An Afternoon with an Artist" because there is truly not a brick and mortar art gallery where I live in Athens, Georgia. I was so excited to share my love and passion for painting and introduce new friends and folks to my favorite new art world. Everyone had a blast and there were lots of requests for me to do it again. There is even one favorite family of collectors that has my event on the Agenda for all their out of town wedding guests- apparently I am entertaining- gotta love it! So with respect to the Galleries that I am now in and still loving all that fun and sharing- here we go again. I will be hosting my second Open Studio Event on Saturday, October 26th from 1-5pm! If you are local and able to drop by, I would love for you to come celebrate and join me as I open my studio and home to share a big part of my life with you. I hope you will enjoy seeing a working studio and my painting process. Drop by anytime from 1-5:00 pm and view over 100 paintings with some special pricing and catch the oil painting/collecting fever. There will be wine and nibbles and drawings for free paintings too! Monthly Spotlight:Here's Why... One of my favorite things to paint besides flowers is gift boxes! Love all things square and the curvy bows with light and shadow dancing between is just capture! They always make me think of all the gifts and blessings I have in my life!
