Horse Power, 11 x 14, Oil on Linen FRESH OFF MY EASEL at SHAIN GALLERYGreetings! Peace and Blessings are certainly at the forefront of my thoughts this Holiday Season already. Peace in knowing my Mom is happy and safe in her new place and so blessed with our first beautiful grandson- super-sigh-sweet all the way around. Grateful for art and oil painting and how good it has been for me. Been very special to have that to go to as my happy place to get a much needed break from caring for both Moms. Always appreciate and love learning and playing in the paint! Thankful for all the opportunities to share my art and love my new Galleries and all the collectors old and new. Appreciate the belief and support in my work and it certainly means the world to me. Thank you! Laughter is good and had the most fun trip to Shain Gallery in Charlotte to deliver eight paintings fresh off my easel for the Small Works Show. Loved visiting with Gaby and Sybil and inspired just being in that beautiful gallery. I love it! Got about an hour down the road heading back home and they called to tell me they had already SOLD THREE of my paintings! Oh my gosh...that was humbling and fun too-Thankful to the core! Here's What's Blooming at Gallery 1401These are the paintings that are now hanging up at Gallery 1401 in Chattanooga, TN! So very fun to paint some special still life's with Spode and Hydrangeas too! Love working with the blue and white pattern in light and shadow. Love all the texture and then the raw linen peeping out too!
