FRESH OFF MY EASEL
OIL PAINTING of DAVIS LOVE III
Truly "hot off the presses" and a Cover Shot!!
My painting of favorite PGA Tour Player and friend Davis Love III will be the cover of Fore Georgia magazine! I was so excited to paint Davis and did 8 different studies of Davis in various golf swing positions. Davis has one of the best and prettiest pure golf swings on tour and it was a pleasure. Davis did a fine job as Ryder Cup Captain and hosts the McGladry down at Sea Island. I am gifting this painting to Davis and Robin Love and appreciate all that they have done for the game of golf.
I am so lucky to have had the opportunity and appreciate the trust that Fore Georgia had in me. You can see the image on the magazine cover digitally on my Facebook Fan Page after Wednesday and it will be out all over Georgia in print by the weekend. I also appreciate my mentor teacher, Jim Richards for always supporting my various adventures and guiding me through them with shared enthusiasm!
In conjunction with Golf month for me, I am excited to be having a Golf Show at the Anne Irwin Gallery in Atlanta. I have wonderful golf paintings that will be there for the month of October and I hope y'all will find time to stop in. I am honored to be back at Anne Irwin Gallery and can't wait to bring golf by way of oil paintings into their amazing gallery space! Anne Irwin Gallery is located at 690 Miami Circle in Atlanta.

Grand Hydrangeas in Window Sill and I know y'all are asking yourselves if I actually painted more hydrangeas and shaking your heads, but Yes and I did! I think I love them because they are so hard to paint! These were so huge and just Grand especially in my sunlit window sill! Lots blooming on my website under Still Life's.

Georgia Bulldawgs and Collegiate Corner!
I think this may be my new favorite bulldawg painting but please don't tell the other 100 or so that I have done! They might all get to barking at me!! I went into this one with a plan for a loose sketchy kind of feel and love how it turned out. Has a bit of an attitude and as he should since we are 5-0 at this point so far. I also think with that attitude he could be titled the famous Georgia favorite saying...Damn Good Dawg!, 11 x 14, Oil on Linen
I created this upbeat rockin' video of all my Bulldawgs to "Who let the Dawgs out" and hope you will watch it! Click here!!!
And now that I got you all fired up with Georgia spirit, I have lots of plans for Bulldawg prints, note cards, calendars and other fun fan goodies and stocking stuffers coming soon. Keep that in mind for early gift ideas! It will all be on my website under Collegiate Collection.

Sunlit Putter in Window Sill, 8 x 10, Oil on Linen
TEE IT UP! Golf Gallery
When my golf life and my art world get together it's like that perfect round of under par golf. I love painting florals in this sunlit window sill so, of course, just had to put my favorite putter and some golf balls in it. Don't you just love that sunlight coming across that shiny Scotty Cameron putter so pretty? I love the cool blues in the golf balls and the shifts in the metal of that putter! This was so much fun to paint and I can't wait to paint some more golf equipment in my window sill.
These two golf paintings will be available at the Anne Irwin Gallery for the month of October in my Golf Paintings Show. I also have more golf paintings on my website under Golf Collections. Tee It Up Friends!!

Commission Corner
An original oil painting of that special scene would be such a wonderful gift. I like to think that everyday is a Holiday or at least my husband says so....I can make that happen for you too.! Just let me know what you would like painted and I can get my Elf hat on and get to work. It's getting to be that Merry time and I love to help with surprises!

Monthly Spotlight:
Breakfast at Tiffany's Present, 12 x 12 Oil on Linen
Here's why! Well, first off, who doesn't love a mysterious present? And, I think I may have mentioned a time or two that I love painting light on anything and these presents were just the perfect subject for me. Amazingly fun perspective with gorgeous color and temperature shifts in just the boxes and wrapping paper alone. Then you add in that gorgeous shiny ribbon and reflections to die for and I am just done! I painted four of these and probably need an intervention. These are just unique, sophisticated, any occasion, elegant yet fun paintings. I think these are the perfect "I don't know what to give" gift!! I love love love these! They are under Still Life's but at this rate may need their own category! Hope you love them too!
