Crossroads
11 x 14 Oil on Linen
$250.00
Fun to paint and just loved the everyday feel of this scene. I have really been pushing myself with tougher compositions and lots of trees lately. I have to admit I could have foreclosed on it at one point and Jim came in to help guide me back off the railroad tracks! I thought this turned out quite charming.
I wanted to take just a moment to talk about another Crossroads for me. I did build my own iWeb a few weeks ago and was pleased but knew I would need to move it at some point. With a few small glitches that I needed help with it seemed like the right time to make the move. After learning tons and checking out all the options, I went with WordPress for both my new website and blog. I had worked with Matt Schwartz from Inspry Media before and felt really confident that we could build and integrate both the website and blog that I wanted to grow up with. Matt did a great job. It still needs a little tweaking and I am working hard on that now.
My new WordPress website and blog are launched and I am so pleased. I have a bit more work to do on the blog side but wanted to post this quaint painting. Please know that if you “follow’ me on blogger that you still will be following me here at WordPress. I am working to show my followers. Also, I will get my Blog Roll up later this week. If you want to subscribe to me by email you can go to the bottom of the page and see an option to do that. Thanks so much for your support and patience!
If you have any thoughts or questions- please feel free to comment or email me.

Hi, Kathy and thanks so much for the generous commenton my blog. I agree that your new painting is charming and I salute you for the bold and complex composition. You soft colors are so appealing and lend a sense of serenity to this scene. And congratulations on the new web site and blog. I am so impressed!
