As a former UGA Golf Coach and also a Georgia Alumna, I have the deepest love and appreciate for my alma mater and all the traditions that being part of such a fine university represent. I think my love for my Dawgs comes through in my paintings of them and they are always smiling. I had the best time painting the newest ones on my fabulous new painting wall. I loved abstracting them and just having some fun with them! They are full of character and I just love them. All of these will be hanging in the windows and available through my favorite little shop right in downtown Athens- Heery’s Too! Hope y’all will stop by and say hello. Gooooooo Dawgs!

I am always so honored when someone asks me to paint for them. It’s such a joy to be a part of that special gift giving and I love that! I have been busy painting quite a few secret special paintings and I so appreciate my collectors.
Here’s one I can share…This commission came about in such a special way for me. As an Alumni and Former Coach at the University of Georgia I have a deep affection for Georgia. It’s been extremely special to me for The Georgia Bulldog Club to use some images of my Bulldog paintings in their marketing materials. All that I asked was that my name be credited on the painting:) Well, this very sweet bulldog fan from the bulldog nation contacted me about doing a special commission for her husband. How cool is that?! I was super excited to paint this and loved how he turned out. Each and every bulldog turns out special and they are always so happy! I think that’s cause I am so happy painting them.
Big shout out of welcome for the little serendipities that come about through sharing and connections. I have a new fellow bulldog friend and appreciate that connection.

Y’all know I love me some Georgia Bulldawgs and pretty much everything University of Georgia touches my heart. UGA has been such a huge part of our life from being Alumna to my coaching Women’s Golf and my Husband being the Head PGA Pro out at the gorgeous UGA Golf Course. I believe you should paint what you love and love what you paint. That certainly holds true for every painting I do that is UGA/Bulldawg related.
I got the most fun phone call yesterday from a new collector up in NY! He had been down for a couple of Georgia football games and kept walking past this painting in particular and it just called out to him. After a little bit of research he found me and my website and contacted me asking “How much was that Dawgie in the window?” Just kidding- he did not quite ask it that way but that song popped in my head. At any rate- I am so tickled to be shipping the painting to this new collector today. I can’t thank Heery’s Too! enough for always being so fun and easy to work with. It’s the only place I have my beloved UGA/Bulldog paintings besides through myself and I appreciate them. You can see how amazing the window is and the whole shop is full of beautiful things! I just delivered a big batch of my 2015 Bulldog calendars too! Can’t help but smile when I paint my Georgia Bulldawgs and also that UGA Arch- it just makes me happy! Love being a Georgia Grad and also a Former UGA Golf Coach. Just a very special school close to my heart. Have loved painting these and many of them will be available in downtown Athens at Heery’s and Heery’s too! I also love to keep them in my studio so I can walk by them and smile. Goooooo Dawgs Y’all!

Love the University of Georgia and the Georgia Bulldogs! I was a Former Coach at Georgia and Alum too so always special to cheer on the Dawgs! I have learned so much painting them and always strive to capture each one’s personality. And it is so interesting to see how they have changed over the years. I appreciate owner Sonny Seiler and family for allowing me some very special photos to paint from.

I had fun putting together the 2014 Calendar. I pick a special painting to represent each month! These would be great Christmas Gifts or stocking stuffers for those Bulldawg Fans. Better get one fast- last year I sold out of them pretty quick! Thanks so much and Gooooo Dawgs!

My kind of Party hat! How ’bout you? Love the University of Georgia and proud to be an Alum! I was a former coach there too- they have the best athletic department across the board and the student athletes are inspiring to me! Love painting anything Georgia related and this helmet was so much fun. It’s just how I feel when I am thinking about my Dawgs!! Big game coming up and I can’t wait…Goooooooo Dawgs!

The following photos show the variety of special commissions I have had the pleasure to paint. I am always so honored when someone asks me to paint for them. I enjoy painting for folks for several reasons- the main ones being I usually get to know a new friend and help with some wonderful surprise gift for someone. That is my kind of fun! I also love getting to paint something I might not have otherwise painted. It’s challenging to paint new and different things and am always up to try something out of my comfort zone. It is so interesting to work on a new subject and research and learn about it. By the time I actually get to painting the commission I am totally comfortable with my subject matter. I really enjoy understanding what the collector wants the painting to “say” and being able to do that with paint.

First Georgia football game for the season is this weekend and I am Red(y)! Loved it as a student and also as a coach- just an amazing very good school that’s rich in tradition. I love all of that- the tradition part especially! This is a helmet that I got back in my Georgia coaching days and it’s special. I love that it is signed by Vince Dooley, (my boss and head AD back in the day) and current coach Mark Richt! It was fun to put it in my still life set up and get some wonderful light on it and hunker down. I think it’s amazing to take an everyday object and turn it into a piece of fine art! Love that! Gotta leave y’all with a big ole’ Gooooo Dawgs!!

Welcome Y’all! It’s that time of year again…new school year and our Georgia football team is gearing up and ready to play! I had so much fun painting this beloved bulldawg!
