How do you like these sun lit boats and don’t you just want to hop right over to Italy and take a spin? Let’s go! The colors were just so beautiful and I tried to do it justice. I had so much fun painting all five boats but my favorite is the one with the turquoise and white striped cover. That is the one I want a ride in and to also paint really big!! Hard to tell from the photo but that focal point just lights up so beautifully!
I am stepping out in so many ways- working hard on my drawing which allows me to branch out with my subject matter. I want to be able to paint anything I want which means I have to be able to draw it first! I have traveled quite a bit and am enjoying going back through my own photos and thankful for the amazing new ones that several friends have shared for me to paint from. Fairy Godmothers are always welcome:) And on that note…I am honored to have been asked to be in the Anne Irwin Emerging Artist Show at their gorgeous gallery on August 10th. More details soon but everyone is welcome to come and I would love to see y’all there! My very first Show! I am blessed and thankful.

Really nice Kathy. My favorite is the boat on the far right. Like how the red on the bottom merges into the white. Great colors in this.

This is so beautiful that I am in total awe—the green and blue mountains in the background, the wonderfully painted buildings, the blue green of the water, and last but not least the perfect groupings of boats. Fantastic!!! I love it!!!
