Athens, Georgia is a wonderful college town with a vibrant downtown that the North Campus of the University of Georgia borders. This is a favorite view of a busy corner and you can see the famous Arch. I had fun painting it but it was a tough one. Lots of perspective and just wanted to get it right. Had to have the Arch showing to represent- love my alma mater! I love North Campus and just walking and shopping downtown are a great way to spend the day. One of my favorite shops is Heery’s Too! and they have been carrying my little Georgia Bulldogs and smaller UGA Arches for a while now.
