Super excited to be a part of the opening night of the Low Country Show at Shain Gallery in Charlotte tonight!! I am always appreciative of a chance to share my passion for painting and art! I just love Shain’s gallery space and how all the paintings just shine wherever they are hanging- in a window or under a beautifully lit chandelier. I was honored to be invited to be a part of this fabulous show and loved painting some very special low country marsh scenes just for them!

I always enjoy painting marshes and the peaceful timeless feel of them. One of my favorite things to paint about marshes are the gorgeous cloudscapes with all the subtle warm and cool temperature shifts in them…Just love finding the light and shadow in them too! Can’t wait to see these hanging out at Shain Gallery tonight!
