Nothing better to me than an early morning walk on the beach to catch the sunrise. Just makes one marvel at the majesty of a new day breaking. I painted this one from a study I had done painting plein air right there on the beach. Always fun to paint with your toes in the sand-if you can have the waves splashing on your feet that is even better! I love the rim lighting peeking out from all around the clouds. This is a great size- will fit in so many wonderful spots! Sunrise Stroll is part of the “Oh, The Places You Go” Show opening Friday evening at dk Gallery.
