A 7 links challenge has been spreading around blog-land.  This challenge lets you take a step back reflect and share some posts again.  I have really enjoyed reading everyone else’s choices. My friend Virginia Floyd has tagged me- you can check out Virginia’s beautiful artwork here.

Then I am supposed to tag 5 other bloggers and it goes on and on. I hope they don’t mind but I want to choose the fabulous teachers that I have had because I think it will be interesting to see what their choices are.  I also know they will use this opportunity to teach us all some new things along the way from some of their older blog posts.
I am going to tag:
Nancy Franke
Carol Marine
Laurel Daniel
Karin Jurick
and then Leslie Saeta and Dreama Tolle Perry are a tag team duo.

So here are my 7 links-

The challenge asks you to revisit:

Your most beautiful post-

I choose this one as my most beautiful.  I love everything about it.  This not only represents my favorite place (SSI)  but being able to be in a mentoring program with Jim Richards.

Your most popular post-

This sweet little painting had a lot of comments but also got so many hits on my blog and on the Daily PaintWorks site. It was fun to see and amazed me.  I am always thankful for the visitors and comments.

Your most controversial post-

I try so hard to have my blog be a fun and positive place for others to come visit.  This was all I had for this one- I know you are not supposed to say you don’t like something but…I just was not feeling this one.  I posted it to show that I had stopped and what Stage 3 was- Lots of folks encouraged me to finish it and liked what I had so far.  You know this art world is just too kind.

Your most helpful post-

I know I really wanted to paint better still life’s and flowers in particular.  If I can learn and do it- so can you…I am learning so much and trying to pass it on with every post.
Here is the link to Jim and our school below.  I am a lucky girl.

A post whose success surprised you-

I love and adore this simple little painting.  It is just nice to see that others really liked it also!

A post you feel didn’t get the attention it deserved-

I have to say that I could not sleep the night before I was going to paint this awesome pink truck.  I was so excited about tackling my first truck and loved the photo that James Coulter had allowed me to use. I wound up loving it so much I painted it 3 more times!  Too fun.  I can open a used truck lot and a boat yard!

The post you are most proud of-

Proud that this was just my second figurative and just love the supportive husband in the painting and miss our sweet dog that passed away several months ago.

Thanks to everyone who visits my blog and I appreciate your support and encouragement!  This was fun to do and I learned more about myself and what I paint.
