Angels…blessed to have them and honored to be one is how I feel about them. I have loved owning a beautiful christmas ornament business called Things, Etc. since 1984 that was based on small original oil paintings of angels and crosses along with animals and symbols too. Loved the stories on the back about what was on the front. I was blessed even then to be in all the Gift Marts from Atlanta to New York to LA! So fun to work the shows and blew my mind when one client bought 10,000 of just one single ornament! Sweet memories for certain.
Fast Forward to these last few months and it’s no surprise that I would be feeling and seeing Angels and loving painting them. I am simplifying them at this point- just their purest form and I love that. Feeling them in my abstract paintings at times as they call to me to acknowledge them. This in some ways is all new to me but yet feels so right as they have been such a huge part of my life as a Minister’s Daughter.
Reckon it all circles right back to be blessed enough to have Angels and also to be one in the best way that you can be.

I also was in the gift business-had a large gift and home furnishings store and went to all the gift shows. What fun that was! The store is still going strong with my first husband.
