I am in love with painting clouds and skies. Something just magical and so beautiful about them. I had fun with this one although it was a tough one. I worked hard breaking it down into the shadows of the clouds and then building from there. I love when I have a process to follow in stages and this was a great lesson in keeping up with all the layers and shadows. Wish I had done it really big! My husband claimed this one for his office. Says it is a favorite. Since he is my biggest supporter, my answer was absolutely!

My favorite part is the distant boat area on the far right. You have some sky color there in the water, and diffused light in the greens, etc. So nice!
