Thinking about those all important “constants” in our lives as I painted this one. That knowing that family, friends and even those fabulous gorgeous trees are ever present and always there. Such a correlation in thinking about that as I do adore family, tradition and also nature. I have been painting a lot of nests from our yard lately and noticing how many beautiful trees stand tall day in and day out weathering it all. They patiently protect, provide shelter, stand witness and have the strength of the ages. As these trees emerged from this abstract painting they shifted in and out of appearing very figure like and I was intrigued by that. I love that in being an artist I “see” things differently and wanted to share this. I am grateful for all that is Ever Present in my life and hope that your world is full of Ever Present Magical Gifts too.
