48 x 36 Oil with Wax

Southern Living Home, Summer 2014, Georgia

I am very excited as my paintings are traveling today to the beautiful new Southern Living Home here in Georgia. I was honored to be asked to paint for Southern Living and the architects and design team have been amazing to work with. I can’t wait to see all the photos with everything pulled together- will be gorgeous from what I have seen so far! Will get some photos of my paintings in situ and also to pass on information about the tours.

This painting was a blast to paint…worked with a lot of wax with oil paint and loved the texture it gave these Birch Trees. I love the color palette for the new Southern Living house and this painting is going over the beautiful living room fireplace!
